About MARIO
Before photography, I served in the Royal Navy, where I picked up a strong sense of attention to detail and organisational skills.
It also helped me learn how to read a room, deploying a sense of humour when required to get a smile out of people. I am very well known for one specific line… if we work together, no doubt it will come out.
Photography came to me later in life, at the age of 27. Before this, the only camera I had ever used was a mobile phone camera. Once I picked up a Canon for the first time I became absolutely obsessed with it and immediately wanted to make it my whole personality…
After leaving the military, I moved to Lincoln, Lincolnshire, where I currently live.

Technology has always fascinated me, from 3D printing and computer building to assembling, racing and flying drones.
There’s something about strapping four motors, a LiPo battery, some electronics and a camera to a frame, then sending it at 100+ kph, that gets my blood flowing… Whatever floats your boat, right?
Life is stressful enough without our joyful hobbies, they just make things a little easier.
